DATE: Art Deco, c.1920

Stylish Art Deco period trilogy ring dating from the 1920s. The principal stone is a .66ct square step cut sapphire displaying vivid royal blue colour, flanked by two icy white old mine cut diamonds (quarter carats each). Stones are set in platinum, setting up a gorgeous contrast with the rich yellow gold shoulders and band. The three stones of a trilogy ring are said to represent the past, present, and future, making them a popular engagement ring choice since the early 20th century.
