DATE: Edwardian, c.1910

A very cute dog pendant, dating from the Edwardian period, circa 1910. The dogs face is carved from a single piece of moonstone, which glows from within when moved in the light. The detailing is great, you can see every hair/fur stroke and it's set with sparkly rose cut diamond eyes. With a later added chain crafted in 18k gold (15 inches wearable length), it makes the perfect necklace for a dog lover, reminds me of a little white terrier.
