DATE: Georgian, c.1800

An antique fob with an intaglio carved seal depicting a leaf, with the words 'I CHANGE NOT' above. The base is carnelian agate and the body shows floral and scroll detailing. Crafted in 9k gold and dates from the Georgian period, circa 1800.

I change not... A verse from the bible, Malachi 3:6. This verse is often seen as proof that God is unchanging and constant. This would make this a lovely sentiment as a gift, maybe for unchanging feelings or love.
