DATE: Victorian, c.1840

A superb pair of antique snake pendants, with additional brooch fittings. They're each set with a ruby and emerald brain, with rose cut diamonds which travel down the snakes bodies. Dating from the Victorian period, circa 1840, they were originally used as as sliders, and work perfectly as a pendant or brooch! Crafted in 18 karat gold with silver settings and additional ruby and diamond set eyes.
