DATE: Belle Époque, circa 1910

A top-tier Belle Époque cluster ring with old cut diamonds arranged around a central 1.21ct mixed cut Burma pink sapphire, certified with no indications of heat treatment. The stone displays an intense and gorgeous colour of pinky/red, a great contrast to the bright white diamonds and platinum settings. Four flared points set with diamonds hold the stone in place, and the head also features a millegrain border and a finely pierced gallery. The band is slim and meets at the head with split shoulders.
