DATE: Art Deco, c.1920

A stunning antique brooch dating from the Art Deco period, circa 1920. A masterclass in platinum openwork is laid out around three old European cut diamonds spread across the bar, 0.43ct total. With fine millegrain, further old cut diamonds and sapphires are set, that create the geometric shapes typical of the era. Its crafted in platinum throughout, with a lovely pierced gallery and open backed settings. Looks great worn as intended but also as a hair slide.
