DATE: Victorian, c.1850

Cute antique diamond earrings dating from the mid 19th century, circa 1850. They each comprise two articulated segments, a double leaf motif at the top, and a rose cut diamond in silver "pie-crust" setting which itself is cradled between scalloped prongs. The gold ear wires are later addition. Crafted in 15 karat gold and silver throughout.
