Albert Chains were used to suspend pocket watches, and were named after Queen Victoria's husband, Prince Albert who often wore them. Both Victoria and Albert were considered "fashion trendsetters".
This piece, a classic Albert chain with T-bar and shield fob. It's crafted in sterling silver - 219 grams worth! The curb links are chunky and subtly graduated, and it fastens with a swivel clasp.
