An eye-catching Victorian silver cuff bangle with oversized buckle motif. It's crafted in sterling silver and dates from the 1880s. The buckle motif was popular in Victorian jewellery, with Queen Victoria herself said to favour the design. It symbolised eternity, loyalty, strength and protection.
