DATE: Victorian, c.1880

A lovely antique silver locket and book collar dating from the Victorian period. The locket features gorgeously chased detail, both on the front and back, and it opens to reveal two compartments with brown fabric inserts. It hangs from a well matched silver collar, each link elongated and finished with silver pommel details. It has a wearable length of 17.3 inches and it remains in lovely antique condition.
