DATE: Victorian, c.1890

Superb Victorian double albert chain dating from the late 19th century. It comprises two lengths of soil gold curb links joining with a T-bar at the centre, and two swivel clasps. Each component, including all links, are Stamped 9 and 375, and the bar features the Birmingham assay mark (anchor). The length (23 inches) makes it suitable for unisex wear, and it's good and heavy at 66.6g.
