DATE: Victorian, c.1890

An enchanting antique rivière necklace set with oval moonstone cabochons in silver mounts. At 22 inches it's a great length, dating from the late Victorian period, circa 1890. The stones display excellent adularescence - the effect whereby they seem to shimmer and glow as the light moves over them - varying in colour from blue to white, and graduated in size.

CONDITION
