DATE: Mid-Century, c.1940

This unusual and oversized cocktail ring dates to the Mid-Century, circa 1940. The main event, a fantastic 13.16 carat natural amethyst! It displays a dreamy violet colour, of great saturation, and size too of course. It rests with a high profile off the finger, within simple claw settings and an open gallery. Its crafted in 18 karat white gold throughout, with a slim band and knife edge shoulders - a blinding contrast to the saturated stone. A great ring for those born in February, a lover of the stone or a statement maker.
