DATE: Mid-Century, c.1950

A sparkly diamond-set crescent moon brooch dating from the Mid-Century, circa 1950. The crescent totals around 2.6 carats of transitional cut diamonds arranged in two graduated rows along its length, modelled in 15k gold with silver settings. It's a good size, with a removable safety chain which could even make it a great hair slide.
