Edwardian Boucheron Diamond & Pearl Chain
Edwardian Boucheron Diamond & Pearl Chain
Description
Edwardian, c.1910
Boucheron is one of the oldest jewellery maisons in Paris renowned for its creative style and characterful stones. Frédéric Boucheron was born into a family of dressmakers in 1831. However he broke the family tradition at a young age to open his own jewellery shop. Boucheron began to work with gold and precious stones the same way he had worked with fabrics and in 1858, he opened his first Galerie de Valois boutique in Paris. His success was immediate and the brand is still going strong.
