This beautiful high quality buckle ring dates from the Edwardian period, circa 1910. Buckles have been a popular symbol for hundreds of years, representing eternity, fidelity, strength and protection- creating an eternal loop as it threads back into itself. This gorgeous ring is studded with rose cut diamonds, bordered by blue enamel. The buckle itself, "fastened", is further set with the lovely rose cut stones and enamel work. Crafted in 18k yellow gold throughout, it remains in excellent condition and fits a US 7.5 finger.
