Description
DATE: Edwardian, c.1902
A remarkable slice of British history... a souvenir photobook charm made to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VII and his wife, Alexandra, possibly given away to the attending guests. The cover bears the Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom, with lion and unicorn guarding the crest at the centre, finished in green and red enamel. Inside are six pages, each with a different labelled photograph: King Edward VII, Queen Alexandra, Westminster Abbey, Coronation Chair, Crown Jewels, Buckingham Palace. Remarkable. Crafted in pinchbeck, made circa 1902.
