DATE: Victorian, c.1889

This super cool antique scent bottle is crafted in silver throughout, and reminds me a little of a chilli pepper... With English hallmarks dating it to the year of 1889 and the city of Birmingham, it comes complete with its original fitted box from Howell & James Limited, Goldsmiths & Jewellers to the Queen etc etc. It features fantastic and unusual stripes down the front, leading all the way up to the lid, opening up to reveal the stopper. I wonder what kind of scent was originally kept in here. And what will you keep in it?
