Regency Period Enamel Portrait Bracelet
Regency Period Enamel Portrait Bracelet
$5,000.00
Description
DATE: Georgian Regency, c.1810
This exquisite bracelet was made during the Georgian Regency period, circa 1810. It features seven enamel portrait panels, each one depicting a young girl either with cherub wings and bow (presumably in reference to cupid), with what look sort of like playing cards or butterfly wings, and one with a King Charles spaniel. The panels are mounted in wonderfully ornate 15k gold, featuring the type of cannetille- and filigree-work typical of this period. It's survived in remarkably good condition.
