DATE: Georgian, c.1830

An antique silver snuff box dating to the late Georgian period, circa 1830. Modelled in silver, a mouse sits at the top of the box keeping whatever you might place in there... a great symbol of mischief! The bottom is beautifully decorated- with a couple surrounded by scrolled and foliate detailing.
