DATE: Georgian, c.1820

This fine Georgian pendant is modelled in 15k gold, and finished with two charming Swiss enamelled portraits, with gorgeous pastel colours. The smaller portrait depicts a young lady, dressed in a blue and pink dress as she seems to be waiting. Below, features an articulated natural pearl that rests between the triangular drop of the larger portrait. It depicts a young couple, possibly the young girl from the other portrait.. who seems to be a bit older and with a male companion. This piece seems to tell a little story... From the pendulum like swing, it symbolises time going by, and falling in love. Quite sweet really and it dates from the Georgian period, circa 1820.
