DATE: Victorian, c.1890

A stunning Victorian five-stone ring set with natural no-heat rubies, Thailand origin. The stones excellent quality, displaying superb colour - intense mid red with faint pink/purple undertones - and largely free from inclusions. The mount is crafted in 18 karat gold, with exaggerated claws allowing for an open gallery. It dates from the late 19th century, circa 1890.
