DATE: Art Deco, c.1929

This cool antique Lapis Lazuli signet ring is carved with a genies lamp. Well known for its magical powers, the genies lamp symbolizes power, knowledge and of course the granting of wishes. The elongated octagon lapis panel is set within 14k yellow gold, with 1929 engraved to the shoulders, which of course dates it to the Art Deco period. The inner band features the initials "J.H.C", perhaps the student this ring belonged to... Remains in great condition.
