A striking antique signet ring dating from the late Victorian period, circa 1880. The face is intaglio carved with a heraldic crest and motto: a rampant lion within the Latin words DUCIT AMOR PATRIAE - "Led by love of country". It's crafted in 18 karat yellow gold, with pinched shoulders and grooved borders around the band.
