$1,200.00
Description
DATE: Edwardian, c.1911
Historically, the serpent has been a great symbol of fertility and, through the shedding of their skin, represent re-birth, immortality, and healing. This antique double snake ring dates from the Edwardian period, bearing hallmarks for the year 1911. Its crafted in 9k gold, and each snake has been set with a gemstone "brain" - two juicy garnets. It wraps around the finger twice, with each snakes head crossing over the other. Their little faces are detailed with small pommels, and the tails end at the shoulders giving it that "split shoulder" effect.
