1960s Enamel CHOIR Badge
1960s Enamel CHOIR Badge
$200.00
Description
DATE: Vintage, c.1960
Cool vintage school badge once worn (presumably) by a chorister. It's finished in royal blue enamel with fine gold lettering and border. Marks to the back indicate it was made by Fattorini at their Birmingham factory - basically making it the Rolls Royce of school badges. Thomas Fattorini Ltd has been making school badges, trophies, and awards for over 100 years. Their motto is "make once and make well" and their iconic school badges cover a range of responsibilities, achievements, and participations "in order to reflect and endorse the achievement or the responsibility of the recipient". This one's particularly useful if you're often presented with an argument or opinion that you already agree with... if you know what I mean?
