DATE: Art Nouveau, c.1900
Exquisite Art Nouveau pendant dating from the turn of the 20th century. It's French, crafted in 18 karat gold, and set with an 8.1 carat elongated step cut aquamarine centre - the stone surrounded by an ornate openworked border adorned with delicately textured scrolled and foliate motifs. Beautifully made with eagle head control mark to the bail.
