DATE: Regency Period, c.1810

HOW adorable is this little pendant, set with an exceptionally finely detailed micromosaic bunny? The artistry the goes into micromosaic jewellery is remarkable in even the crudest examples, but this one is quite something to behold. It's mounted in an equally well detailed Georgian Regency era mount featuring intricate filigree and gold bead decoration as well as pearl and turquoise stones at the bottom. It's crafted in 15 karat gold, the micromosaic having been made in Italy and paired with the pendant mount in England circa 1810.
