DATE: Victorian, c.1880

An adorable antique lizard brooch studded with rose and old mine cut diamonds and with ruby eyes. It was made in the latter half of the 19th Century, circa 1880, with finely detailed features - particularly the face, feet, and tail. Modelled in 9 karat gold with silver settings.
