DATE: Georgian, c. 1820

A gorgeous pair of earrings dating from the Georgian period, set with pear-shaped garnet cabochons. The stones are foil backed, enhancing their deep and juicy colour, and they're surrounded by a halo of old cut diamonds within round and square settings. They hang freely from diamond flower cluster tops, with 15k gold backs and wires with silver settings. They drop just over an inch from the ear and date from the Georgian period circa 1820. Comes complete with fitted box.
