DATE: Georgian, c.1800

A classic Georgian half-hoop eternity ring set with eight chunky old cut diamonds - total carat weight approx. 0.53ct, graduated in size. The stones rest in silver foil-backed closed settings, enhancing their colour and brightness and in great contrast to the 15k gold band. A fine example of the style, this one dates to circa 1800.
