Description
DATE: Victorian, c.1880
Highly unusual Victorian "pool of light" locket with a watch inside. The face is magnified by the rock crystal dome, and the mechanism can similarly viewed from the back. It dates from the latter half of the 19th century, circa 1880, suspended on a 15 karat gold chain with jump rings for wear as a pendant.

CONDITION
Fair, mechanism requires some attention as it's sticking. The watch ticks when wound for around 10 seconds before stopping - a light tap will temporarily resume the ticking. Appears to hold good time while ticking. Some surface scratches and nibbles to the rock crystal - it's possibly to have these polished out if preferred
