The Devil In The Bottle...

This cute... or not so cute Victorian novelty charm is modelled as a beer barrel with the devil himself inside. Crafted in sterling silver throughout, scroll work wraps around the barrel making its way up to the lid, where a spring-loaded red enamel devil's head pops out of the box. Similar to a jack-in-a-box charm, and it features silver fittings for wear on a chain. The devil in the bottle? I'm sure you can make your own mind up on the symbolism...
