DATE: Vintage, c.1972

A fantastic Vintage signet ring with an heraldic intaglio crest. The crest depicts an eagle, which I can link to the names of Hemming, Luce (or Marker) and Cunard- from the Fairbairn's Book of Crests. The eagle is often associated with royalty, power, strength and courage, and its intaglio carved into the oval/round signet head. It features English hallmarks, dating it to Birmingham and the year 1972, and it remains in excellent condition. This ring is fully resizable- it looks great worn, and even on the pinky! I can't imagine who would lose or do away with this, there so much family history... Do you know anyone by these last names?
