DATE: Victorian, .1896

A sweet antique cluster boat ring- lovely and streamlined and set with glistening old cut diamonds and a central sapphire. The diamonds are set at each side of the centre stone, in clusters of three, resting in scalloped settings that form open spaces to the gallery, allowing the light in behind them. The sapphire displays a gorgeous colour, with flashes of light and deep blue shown throughout, a beautiful contrast to the yellow gold (18k) band. Dates from the late Victorian period, with English hallmarks for Birmingham , 1896.
