DATE: Vintage, c.1980

Zolotas, founded in Athens in 1895 is known for its jewellery designs inspired by rich Greek history. Efthimios Zolotas, the son and brother of traders and tailors, went down path to fulfil his own desires of becoming the greatest Greek jeweller. He went to France to study the craft, and returned to Greece full of knowledge and skill. He opened the doors of his first store in Athens in 1985 and by 1901 had established the House of Zolotas on Aeolou Street- the Grecian equivalent to New York City’s famed 5th Avenue.

This ring is crafted in 18k gold and platinum, fashioned into a love knot with the two interlinked metals. It features the Zolotas marks, and was retailed in France (French import marks). Dates to the 1980's.
