A fantastic antique diamond "toi et moi" ring dating from the Art Deco period. The stones, two 0.40ct chunky old mine cut diamonds which rest in square platinum settings, typical of the Deco period, with a fine millegrain details. The band is crafted in 18k yellow gold, while the crossover shoulders are platinum tipped. The contrast of sleek square settings against the elegantly curved crossover shoulders creates a great contrast, it's delicate and fine yet straight edged. The toi et moi meaning, “you and me”, is one of the most historic ring setting styles that symbolizes love stories and partnerships. The double stones symbolize two souls that are intertwined as one.
