DATE: Edwardian, c.1910

A beautiful antique ring set with a blue sapphire sugarloaf cabochon. The shoulders flare out to from two rounded points at either side of the head where the stone is perfectly accented by calibre cut sapphires. The sapphire is natural and the colour is displayed perfectly with a smooth and glossy finish. The head is modelled in platinum, while the band, yellow gold which features French marks for 18k gold. Dates from the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
