DATE: Georgian, c.1830

A charming antique heart shaped locket, dating from the Georgian period, circa 1830. Two rock crystal panels make up the front and back of the locket, mounted in 15k gold fittings. It opens to reveal a small space perfect for a small photograph or other memento, as the rock crystal magnifies the contents inside.
