DATE: Art Deco, c.1920

A dainty antique half hoop ring, dating from the Art Deco period, circa 1920. Fourteen semicircular sapphire half moons are arranged around the head, centre set with chunky old mine cut diamonds. The diamonds graduate in size across the head, bordered by fine platinum millegrain that meets the vibrant blue gemstones- completing the classic Art Deco aesthetic. It's perfectly formed and gorgeously detailed, with the platinum band resting perfectly against the finger.
