DATE: Art Nouveau, c.1890

This charming Art Nouveau ring features swirling silver detail surrounding a dreamy opal cabochon. Set with rose cut diamonds throughout, the openwork head almost looks like a heart!... Studded with rose cuts and finished with fine silver detail. The opal displays fiery colours of blue, red, orange and green- set so its centre stage, right where it should be. With diamond set shoulders, the band features ribbed detail, crafted in 15k rosey gold.
