DATE: Victorian, c.1888

"How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good findings"... Is engraved to the inner of the head of this Victorian signet ring. Featuring English hallmarks for Birmingham assay office and the year 1888, it features an smooth oval face with detailed shoulders and chunky band. The engraving can be found in Isaiah 52:7, describing the "beauty" of messengers who bring good news, specifically proclaiming peace, salvation, hope and the reign of God. What a lovely message.. And it would look even better with an original style engraving to the front- possibly a dove for peace?
