DATE: Victorian, c.1900

This stunning ring features a gorgeous arrangement of stones- alternating natural blue sapphires and old cut diamonds. The stones rest in fine platinum claw settings- the three sapphires, 1.82ct total, displaying a lovely deep hue with flashes of bright blue when moved in the light. The two chunky old mine cut diamonds are set in between, with a total weight of 0.80 carats. The band is modelled in 18 karat gold with subtly pinched shoulders, dating from the turn of the century, circa 1900. A gorgeous example of the classic five stone, perfect for an alternative engagement ring or even for a statement.
