DATE: Georgian, c.1780

A stunning Georgian diamond ring dating from the late 18th Century, circa 1780. The highly domed rose cut stones rest in cut-down "pie crust" settings, silver, with fancy bifurcated shoulders and an intricately worked gold band. The back of the head features gorgeous fluted detailing.

A truly remarkable ring, preserved in fantastic condition given its age.
