DATE: Georgian, c.1830

A fantastic antique spinner ring featuring an intaglio carved bloodstone agate. The carving includes an hourglass, and the mirrored words “Le Temps Passe Mais L'amitie Reste” – which translates from French to to "Time Passes But Friendship Remains". The back features the name Anne, most likely given to her as a gift from a friend. The band is crafted in 15k yellow gold, with trifurcated shoulders and it dates from the Georgian period, circa 1830.
